Shrimp al ajillo with lemon
Insanely delicious shrimp in a generous mixture of garlic-infused oil and lemon. Perfect as an appetizer at a buffet or as a dish to share at a family dinner.

Ingredients
- 700–800 g large Vannamei shrimp
- 3 tablespoons crushed garlic
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- 1.5 tablespoons butter
- 1.5 tsp gochugaru
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1.5 dl parsley
- salt
- black pepper

- 1 red chili pepper
- lemon wedges
- light sourdough bread or baguette
- 700-800g stora Vannameiräkor

- 5 msk olivolja
- 2 msk neutral olja
- 1,5 msk smör
- 1,5 tsk gochugaru
- 2 msk citronsaft
- 1 msk citronzest
- 1,5 dl persilja

SERVERING
- 1 st röd chili
- citronklyftor
- ljust surdegsbröd eller baguette
Instructions
Cooking Mode
- Heat the oils and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic paste and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the shrimp and cook them for about 2–3 minutes per side until they turn pink.
- Add the gochugaru, lemon juice, and lemon zest, and mix well.
- Chop the parsley and stir it into the pan.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the fried shrimp and oil on a large platter or in individual serving bowls.
- Slice the chili into thin strips and top the dish with them and lemon wedges.
- Serve with sliced bread to dip in the flavorful oil.
